Visit Calgary: Mountains aside, this City is Awesome

People don’t visit Calgary. They fly to Calgary and visit Banff, and for good reason; The Rocky Mountains hold breathtaking views, plenty of outdoor activities, and a relaxing time away from it all.  That being said, tourists do fly to Calgary for Calgary as well… but not really.  What they actually do is fly to Calgary for the Calgary Stampede, which takes place each July.

This isn’t about taking a stand for the city itself.  It’s more about highlighting some of the other great things you can do in Calgary… even if you are just passing through to the mountains.
